Save the date! In cooperation with the City of Alamosa, San Luis Valley Federal Bank is thrilled to announce its 25th annual fireworks show on July 4th, 2023, at the Alamosa Fairgrounds at 9:30 pm. The show is FREE to the public.

As always, we will closely watch the weather. In the event of bad weather or dry conditions, the show will be moved to a later date. San Luis Valley Federal Bank will regularly post updates and notices regarding the event. 

The Alamosa July 4 fireworks display has been canceled this year due to ongoing drought conditions and concern over the risk of community fires such as the recent one in Monte Vista. Since 1997 the fireworks display has been an ongoing partnership between San Luis Valley Federal Bank and the City of Alamosa. This show has been canceled only once, in 2020, due to Covid-19. In 2013 due to similar dry conditions, it was rescheduled from July 4 to Labor Day weekend.

If you're not familiar with red nose day, it's a fantastic cause to help raise money for children living in poverty. The money is distributed both in the US and Internationally. In cooperation with the City of Alamosa, San Luis Valley Federal Bank is proud to sponsor its 24th Annual Fireworks Show! The Alamosa Fireworks Show will be held on Sunday, July 4th, beginning at 9:30 PM. The show is FREE to the public, but the grandstands are CLOSED this year! Parking along the perimeter is advised. In the event of bad weather, the show will be moved to a later date. San Luis Valley Federal Bank will post updates and notices regarding the event here.
